At Rising Star, our ministries are the heartbeat of our community. From the youngest child to our most senior members, there is a place here for you to grow, serve, and belong.
Worship & the Word
Experience the power of praise every Sunday. Sunday School begins at 8:45 AM, followed by our main worship service at 10:00 AM, with communion celebrated on second Sundays.

Empowering the next generation to lead with faith. Youth Church meets on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays, led by First Lady Lawanda D. Duff.
Our youth legacy runs deep — from Youth Sunday (est. 1955) to college scholarships (since 1992) and our annual Youth Summer Camp (since 2010).
Discipleship & Bible Study
Deepen your understanding of the Word. Discipleship classes meet Tuesdays at 7:00 PM — men every week, women on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays. Bible Study is Wednesdays at 7:00 PM.
Start your weekend centered in faith with our Saturday Prayer Call at 8:00 AM.

Community Outreach
Being the light beyond our walls. Through our Community Resource Center (built 2005), Empowerment Community Day, holiday giveaways, and the Fourth Friday Feeding, we serve our Griffin neighbors year-round.
